Setperms is just a file of secure permissions for a default install of slackware. To help harden the filesystem security. This script is not a run me then your secure.. But it is the start of a process of securing your computer. This might work as-is on other distribution's, or with minor editing.

secureRoot is a small shell script for linux to add into /etc/profile. It's purpose is to detect a user logging in with uid 0 that is not root. Upon detection of this, the account will be locked and some information about the user will be in /root/secureRoot.log, then a message displayed to them (;. If you would like the log's to be sent somewhere remotely, change root@localhost to the remote email address within the script.

This script will take care of the backing up your Linux apache logs. As you know if you run a web server the log files can grow 400 Meg's easily in 1 day. This just backs the file up and adds the date on the end, then will email the admin of the backup. No compression supported, but can easily be added.
